The facts, figures, and signs of Domestic Violence and our role as dispatchers
Many of us hear over and over, domestic situations are one of the most dangerous for officers to go on. Many times things have happened between the involved parties, causing the tension and contempt to boil over into a contentious situation, that may be headed towards serious or deadly consequences. In order to better understand how we, as dispatchers, can handle these calls, this course provides information and background on what may have been contributing factors.
Your Instructor
Jennifer has an extensive history in dispatch and training dating back to 1995. She currently works as a Manager and trainer in her center. She develops many of the center's training materials. Her passion for training led her to work together with Halcyon to create Impact Dispatch.
