It's easy to slip into the mindset that nothing bad will happen or that traffic stop will go like all the rest, but the reality is you never know when a call make take a turn for the worse and something unexpected will happen. This course explores how to prevent us from becoming complacent in our roles as dispatchers.
After this course you will be able to:
- Recognize the dangers of complacency.
- Understand what the effects of complacency on certain call types can be.
- Identify what may be considered distractions.
